Venezuela, where the CIA and DEA allegedly planned a coup, is located in South America and holds the world’s most important oil reserves.

Speaking at the “New Era Congress” held in the capital Caracas, Maduro stated that the CIA and DEA were trying to make plans for violence, chaos and coup in Venezuela and that they were preparing them at the DEA base in Colombia.
Reminding that they prevented “four conspiracies” against the Bolivarian revolution last year, Maduro said, “Intelligence agents from the Colombian army are planning violence, terrorism, assassination and coup against Venezuela at the DEA base, that is, from Colombian territory.” he said.
DETERMINED STANCE FROM MADURO: WE WILL DEFEND IN THE STRONGEST WAY
Emphasizing that possible actions against the Bolivarian revolution will receive serious reactions from the public, Maduro said that the army and the people will defend democracy and peace in the “strongest” way.
Maduro stated that they declared “maximum responsibility” to prevent the conspiracies planned against Venezuela and that they would not allow the revival of violence in his country.
President Maduro was accompanied by Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino Lopez and senior military commanders.
