While local elections in Côte d’Ivoire are scheduled for September, the two main opposition parties, newly allied, issued a joint statement this week denouncing “irregularities” on the provisional electoral lists. He called on the militants of their respective parties to participate actively in the litigation by checking their registrations on the places of posting.
