In Côte d’Ivoire, and more particularly in Abidjan, health authorities have declared the occurrence of a dengue fever epidemic. Two people have succumbed to this mosquito-borne disease. At least 92 cases have been identified, mainly in the municipalities of Cocody and Bingerville. This is the sixth time that the country has suffered from this epidemic since 2009.
