Corsica from the aggression of Yvan Colonna to a possible

normal

Corsica has been plagued by violence since the assault in prison on March 2 of the assassin of the prefect Erignac, Yvan Colonna. An act which rekindled tensions between the State and the nationalists, frustrated that their victories at the ballot box, during the territorial elections of 2015, 2017 and then 2021, did not bring their claims to fruition during the quinquennium. To respond to the anger, the government opened the way, Wednesday, March 16, to a possible autonomy of the island of Beauty.
