Growing trend of liberal abortion laws in Latin America
Countries such as Argentina, Colombia and Mexico have in recent years decriminalized abortion. Three countries with great influence across the continent and which are part of a kind of wave of legalization of abortion in Latin America, according to Feiler.
At the same time, there are many countries such as Honduras, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Chile and Brazil where abortion is completely prohibited or with the exception of life-threatening circumstances.
