Coronavirus panic in Shanghai! Banned – World News

According to official data released today by the National Health Commission (NHC), three cases of coronavirus were detected in Shanghai, which did not come from abroad and whose symptoms were confirmed on November 25.

The last symptomatic infection in Shanghai was reported in August.

The new cases were detected just days after China contained the major outbreak caused by the Delta variant, marking the increasing difficulty in efforts to contain local transmission.

National health officials stated earlier this month that China’s goal is not to maintain zero cases, but to ensure that local clusters of contagion can be detected and contained in a short time.

PROHIBITED

Shanghai has banned travel agencies from organizing tourism activities that include trips between cities and other provincial-level regions.
