These are the numbers of the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health which will be the last since the beginning of the pandemic. Ordinary hospitalizations are down (-57 since yesterday for a total of 6,824) while people are slightly up (+5 since yesterday for a total of 228) who are in intensive care.
There is still one decrease in cases, incidence and Rt which is just above the epidemic threshold. Decrease also in the occupation of hospitals by Covid patients and so oni there is a decongestion of health structures “. Meanwhile, the new minister Schillaci has announced a measure “To be defined” per the reintegration into service of the suspended health workers because they have not been vaccinated, before the suspension expires. With regard to health personnel subject to suspension proceedings for non-compliance with the vaccination obligation and the cancellation of the fines provided for by Legislative Decree 44/21, in view of the expiry of the provisions in force on 31 December next and “in light” of the worrying shortage of medical and health personnel reported by the heads of the health and territorial structures – reads a note from the dicastery – a provision is being defined which will allow the reintegration into service of the aforementioned personnel before the expiry date of the suspension “.
