Corona home test less accurate if you have no complaints: ‘Test again if you get symptoms’

Corona home test less accurate if you have no complaints

Utrecht – Corona self-tests are less accurate in people who have no symptoms of an infection. This is shown by a study by a group of researchers led by UMC Utrecht. The research shows that if people who have no complaints do a self-test, 72 to 80 percent of the actually infected people get a negative result. The self-test is sufficiently reliable for Covid19-like complaints, as was previously established.
