The distributor Plivit Trade is recalling finely ground cornmeal and polenta corn grits of the Klas brand, the Swedish Food Agency announces in a press release.
The recall applies to products with a best before date of March 13, 2024 and April 28, 2024.
According to the Swedish Food Agency, an inspection found that the products’ levels of the mold toxins aflatoxin and ochratoxin exceed the applicable limit values.
Customers who have purchased these products are asked to return them to the point of sale, the company writes on its website.
