The error was discovered on Thursday

According to Peter Nordmanwhich is the Sales and Operations Manager at Coop West, the error was due to a disturbance in the central database that handles article and price conservation. This led to incorrect price signs being shown in the stores.

-We have a disruption to the central database for article and price care and this means that our signage system does not retrieve the right regular prices, says Peter Nordman to the Gothenburg Post.

The error has been going on since Monday, and when the Gothenburg Post visited one of the stores on Thursday afternoon, the staff was in full swing to remove the incorrect signs.
