Coop recalls even more eggs

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Coop continues to recall eggs due to the risk of salmonella. The latest call concerns eggs from free-range hens in 12-packs, 24-packs and 15-packs labeled Xtra.

The packages have a best before date between January 18 and 28, according to a press release from Coop.

Last week, both Coop and Axfood recalled batches of eggs for the same reason. After Axfood’s alarm, the Swedish Food Agency estimated that around 165,000 animals may have to be euthanized.
