In France, the extreme right is sounded in the aftermath of the conviction of Marine Le Pen. The leader of the national rally (RN) has received five years of ineligibility, with immediate effect, for embezzlement of public funds. The court decision was rendered Monday, March 31, as part of the trial on European parliamentary assistants of the RN – then known as the National Front.
