One of the two men sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of twelve-year-old Adriana in Norsborg in 2020 admitted in his appeal to the Supreme Court that he had fired shots at the scene, reports P3 Dokumentär.
In the appeal of the verdict in the Svea Court of Appeal, which was announced in December 2023, the man stated that he fired a shot at the intended targets, but that no one was hit.
Previously, the man had completely denied any crime.
– I have not seen anything like it, that a person actually admits to the Supreme Court that he is then guilty of attempted murder, says prosecutor Anna Svedin to P3 Dokumentär.
The Supreme Court denied the man’s appeal and the life sentence was thus fixed.
It was on the night of August 2, 2020 that several people in a car opened fire on two men who were outside a fast food restaurant in Norsborg, south of Stockholm. The men escaped unharmed but the girl, who was standing nearby, was killed.
