Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

YouTuber Logan Paul keeps drawing attention to himself. He’s one of the most controversial people on the internet, jumping on all sorts of trends, most recently cryptocurrencies. He’s made big losses here, but doesn’t think they’re that bad.

Who is the YouTuber? Logan Paul is one of the greatest YouTubers in the world. In his videos, he often implements bizarre ideas and thus makes a name for himself. He cast about 15 GameBoy Colors in resin which caused him quite a lot of hate.

He always offends with his ideas. Some celebrate him for what he does, others criticize him heavily. It has become something of a cult or a question of faith whether you should love or hate Logan Paul.

His latest idea is a marketplace where you don’t really buy or sell anything. In addition, the YouTuber is heavily involved in cryptocurrencies, in which he has invested money in the past.

However, as he reveals in a new video, he made big losses with it:

“Not a good time to be there”

Logan Paul says: Paul talks about the cryptocurrency crash. As the Reuters news agency reports, the entire cryptocurrency market has lost around 50% in value since November 2021. The famous bitcoin alone fell from 69,000 US dollars to 30,000 US dollars (equivalent to around 64,000 or 28,000 euros).

“It’s not a good time to be fully involved in crypto. Especially when dealing with LUNA. KSI, my business partner, lost $3 million. Path. Personally, I’ve lost half a million so far.”

However, Paul doesn’t seem particularly affected by the loss. He speaks of the current crypto low as a “bump in the road” – in German: a small annoyance or obstacle, a rather soothing formulation.

What’s next for him? For Paul, cryptocurrencies and apparently NFTs continue to be the future. He says: “If you believe in the technology, in the function of cryptocurrencies, and you look at it from the top, then it’s nothing.”

A lot of people wouldn’t see that. According to Paul, they buy on trend and quickly sell again out of panic. You have to leave your emotions out and “play for time.”

Money doesn’t seem to play a big role for Logan Paul anyway. He once lost 3 million euros and simply wore a Pokémon card for almost 5 million euros around his neck.

Not all YouTubers are honest about crypto

The crypto phenomenon is also making waves outside of well-known figures such as Logan Paul on YouTube – and not always in a good way. A YouTuber is said to have made a profit of €11 million with the crypto coin Safemoon because he allegedly cheated his fans.

Another crypto coin, Save The Kids, has ended the careers of 4 YouTube stars. Behind the entire coin is said to have been a scam that the YouTubers allegedly knew nothing about.

Crypto and NFTs are trends that have also been spreading in gaming for some time. Some studios are betting on “crypto gaming” or owning digital goods for resale. You can read more about the topic in our detailed special:
