“Death to the dictator! Death to the dictator!” echoes through the streets of Tehran.
Every night at 9 p.m., the protests continue in Iran, from people’s apartments and rooftops, despite the risk of imprisonment as well as violence. It was after the young Kurdish woman Mahsa Amini died after being arrested by morality police because of her veil, that the protests started.
Five months later, TV4 Nyheterna, as the first Swedish team, is admitted. On the streets we meet people who participated in the protests.
– I felt a duty to take off the veil, regardless of what would happen, says “Sarah”, one of the people we interview.
