Train traffic between Stockholm and Uppsala will resume on Wednesday after the derailment at Arlanda. However, SJ does not count on full capacity until June-July at the earliest, reports P4 Uppland.

On Wednesday, traffic will be released on one of the tracks, but the problems continue for travelers on the Stockholm – Uppsala route. There will be further delays and canceled departures, says Anders Edgren at SJ’s press service to the radio.

Early on Saturday morning, May 27, an Arlanda express train derailed east of Märsta at the height of Arlanda city. There were about 70 people on the train, two passengers had to be taken to hospital by ambulance.

The police have started a preliminary investigation into the derailment.
