Due to a shortage of money and nitrogen problems, Minister Harbers of Infrastructure recently said that construction projects such as those on the A1 – A30 at Barneveld and the Hoevelaken junction have been put on hold for the time being. Engbert Stroobosscher, alderman in Veenendaal and mobility spokesperson at Foodvalley, understands, but wants Harbers to make an exception for the south side of the interchange at Barneveld. The situation there is so problematic that it is really necessary, he thinks.
