(Finance) – Construction halts production in May, interrupting the positive trend of the last quarter. According to the latest Istat data, production is decreased by 0.1% compared to the previous month, bringing the average of quarter March-May at + 4.7% in comparison with the previous quarter.
On a trend basisthe index corrected for calendar effects grows by 16.9% (seasonally adjusted data), while the raw index recorded a growth of 21%.
In the average of first five months of 2022production is increased by 18.7% compared to the same period of the previous year, while the raw index grew by 18.5%.
