(Finance) – The CONSOB ha launched a market consultationlasting 30 days, aimed at collecting the evidence and opinions of operators regarding the adoption of the set of information obligations that crowdfunding service providers (CSPs) they would be called upon to acquit the Authority.
The set of information and documents subject to the consultation, the collection of which would allow the Authority to structure a functional database for the implementation of a risk-based supervisory modelis divided into three categories.
The first concerns i structured data on published and concluded offerscomposed of information regarding the projects financed through the crowdfunding platform, integrated with further data and information, which, for cost-effectiveness, would be acquired at the same time by CONSOB, exercising its investigative powers.
The second concerns information relating to significant changes to the conditions of authorization. The third concerns the sheet containing the key information on the investment (KIIS).
In order to facilitate dialogue with the CSPs, CONSOB has developed the SIcrowd portal which will represent the single channel for fulfillment of the complex of information obligations towards the Authority.
