MMA star Conor McGregor is accused of sexual assault by a young woman on the sidelines of the NBA Finals.
He had made headlines by knocking out the Miami Heat mascot for promoting painkiller spray in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. This time, the Irishman Conor McGregor is accused of much more serious facts. According to the American media TMZ, the MMA star is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a bathroom on the sidelines of the fourth NBA finals in Miami on June 9. The Miami Heat team, the NBA and the UFC say they are aware of the charges and wish to investigate further and will not comment further.

According to a letter of formal notice sent by her lawyer, the young woman would have been separated from a person who accompanied her by members of the security of the NBA and the Miami Heats then taken to the toilets where McGregor and his bodyguard. These security members would have forbidden him to leave, while preventing anyone from entering inside. According to TMZ Sports, McGregor “aggressively kissed” her, before forcing her to perform oral sex on him. The fighter then pinned him against a wall in an attempt to rape her. After struggling, the complainant eventually managed to flee and surrendered to local authorities, the letter said.
For the time being, the Miami police do not confirm the information revealed by the media and the representatives of the MMA star firmly reject the accusations against the Irishman.
