Connected to drug stores – gets tougher punishment

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Last spring, the police raided a suspected drug warehouse in Tumba, south of Stockholm. Seven kilos of amphetamine were found in the rented warehouse.

Three people had access to the storeroom, including the man in his 20s. However, the district court did not consider that he had a leading role and therefore sentenced him only for the drugs he had in his car and home. The penalty was imprisonment for one year and three months for drug offenses of the normal degree.

The Court of Appeal, on the other hand, believes that the man can be connected to the store and sentences him to five and a half years in prison for serious drug offences.
