CONGRATULATIONS! Ebba Årsjö turns 23 – and shocks everyone in Prisoners at the Fort: “I miss words”

Ebba Årsjö has won most things that can be won.
Today we celebrate her a little extra – as she turns 23.
And we fondly remember when she completely dominated in Fångarna på Fortet.
– I can’t find words, says presenter Agneta Sjödin after the screening.

In a short time, Ebba Årsjö has become one of Sweden’s most successful athletes, and even though she is only 23 years old, she has won most of what can be won in para sports. In 2022, there was double gold in the Paralympics and Para World Championships, and last year the success only continued with an incredible four World Championship golds.

Completely dominant

Ebba Årsjö also won the overall slalom cup and aims to win the overall alpine world cup this year, despite the fact that she does not compete in downhill races. However, Årsjö has had a brilliant start to the season with double victories in the Super-G. Årsjö has become a big favorite with all those interested in sports in Sweden, and for the second year in a row she is nominated for the Jerring Prize at the Sports Gala.

Årsjö has also been featured in TV4’s long-running Fågarna på Fortet, and unsurprisingly it was a smash hit there as well. When Årsjö jumped into a cell, the mission was clear: In five minutes, she would, without touching the ground, retrieve a key and get back out the door. Årsjö brilliantly navigated her way past the obstacles, while her teammates cheered her on properly.

The show in Prisoners at the Fort

By the time Ebba Årsjö came out of the cell, only half(!) of the time had passed, and the presenter Agneta Sjödin was standing outside almost in shock at the enormous display.

– Who are you?! I am at a loss for words, I am at a loss for words, says a very impressed Agneta Sjödin.

However, Ebba Årsjö did not think it was a major challenge, and when she sat down laughing to talk about it all, she stated briefly:

– No, but then… this was really easy.
