This is a major step taken in Congolese mediation in resolving the Chadian crisis. Tuesday, in Kinshasa, under the facilitation of Congolese President Félix Tshisekedi, an “agreement” was signed for the return of the opponent Succès Masra to Ndjamena where an international warrant had been issued against him. The opponent and the Chadian authorities say they are satisfied with this compromise, an “agreement in principle” which leaves gray areas on the modalities of its implementation.
