The fighting over Sievjerodonetsk in eastern Ukraine continues. On Friday, Ukrainian forces said they had recaptured a fifth of the area occupied by the Russian military around the city, but now other bids are coming from Russia.
Russia’s Defense Ministry claims heavy Ukrainian losses and that its opponents are withdrawing, writes the Russian news agency Interfax.
The British Ministry of Defense has ruled on Twitter that the city will fall within two weeks, and that Russia will then control the entire province of Luhansk.
