The 27 foreign ministers of the European Union (EU) were brought together in Brussels this Monday, March 17, with in particular on the agenda the situation in the east of the DRC. They adopted sanctions in the morning against nine people and an entity, both against Rwandan and Congolese, “balanced” sanctions therefore, according to diplomatic language. These are political and military leaders but also “people responsible for illegal traffic”.
