In eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), humanitarian organizations are concerned about the growing number of war casualties caused by fighting between the M23 armed group, supported by Rwanda, and the Congolese army and its allies . Since the start of the year, more than 400 patients have been received by medical organizations such as Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in the Masisi territory and Goma. A situation which comes at a time when very intense fighting is being reported in several localities in North Kivu.
