(Finance) – “We ask the Government to preserve, support and accompany the sector towards the challenges of the future”, thus Annarita PilottiPresident of Confindustria Moda at a hearing today at the of a cycle of informal hearings on the scheme of legislative decree containing simplification of controls on economic activities (Act No. 150).
“The search for simplification it must comply with EU legislation, which is very stringent for the fashion sector and also for other sectors. Instead, article 1 of the draft legislative decree in question exempts sectors affected by the European regulation from involvement. Given that according to the legislation the control activity must be not only repressive, but also collaborative, we would like to better illustrate the perimeters of this exemption, because the Italian and European regulations are too connected to avoid considering them in relation”, he added.
“To give an example”, continued Pilotti, “the controls in terms of environment And safety they must take into consideration what our companies must do to adapt production to European demands for sustainable fashion”. For Confindustria Moda it is essential to find one quick solution to the unresolved question of “Tax credit for samples made in the period 2015-2019”, just as it hopes that the certifications required for a company to be defined as low risk respect the proportionality criterion.
“The fashion and accessories sector has made Italy and the world great Made in Italy. We appreciate the spirit of the scheme of this legislative decree and we strongly underline that today the real raw material ‘produced’ by Italy is the entrepreneur, who must be protected and followed: we are at the Government’s disposal to facilitate dialogue with our companies” , concluded Annarita Pilotti.
