A musical world trip through the Vollenhove district in Zeist, that is VOLfest. Top musicians from all over the world meet in the community center at the Vollenhoveflats for a series of special concerts, jam sessions and musical demonstrations to school children. The initiator is musician and composer Mark Lotz. “I always drove by and saw the colors that are here. I am German myself but grew up in Uganda and Thailand, so I was always involved with foreign cultures and make a lot of world music myself. This concert series reflects the many cultures that live here in the flat to live.”.
