The ski World Cup in Trondheim, which began on Wednesday, has already become a great audience success. And at the same time as the championship is going on at Granåsen Ski Center, school students go to the city on sports holidays.

It paves the way for partying among the youth of the area. Several schools have now sent out an appeal to the parents to try to prevent it from being too much trouble and fill the World Cup tracks in the coming week.

Last year it became messy during the World Cup in Holmenkollen when 30,000 people, many of whom between 16 and 20 years, gathered to follow the classic five -mile. Up to 50 people had to be removed from the scene and the day was characterized by filling, drugs and trouble.

The police are prepared

Hanne Blekkan, crime prevention police at the World Cup, announces that they are well prepared.

– We have discussed different scenarios, but we are very dependent on the parents when it comes to children under 18 years. They have to set boundaries for their children, she tells TV4 News.

But it is far from anyone planning a World Cup.

– Absolutely not! I’m here with the family, so it would have been quite inappropriate, says a young girl.
