Vijfheerenlanden – The South Holland Landscape Management is sounding the alarm about the Zouweboezem nature reserve, in the town of Ameide in Vijfheerenlanden. According to the manager, the swamp area in the protected Natura 2000 area is increasingly drying up, with worrying consequences for plants and endangered animals. “To turn the tide, more water needs to enter the area quickly.”
