DNB’s research shows that the problem is greatest in Utrecht. In Flevoland (7.4 percent) and South Holland (4.9) it is also not possible to pay cash in a relatively large number of places. The problem is the smallest in Drenthe and Limburg: only 2.6 percent of all shops cannot accept cash payments there.
