The Embassy of Spain in Kiev, in collaboration with the Spanish Embassy in Warsaw (Poland) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, works to provide coverage and facilitate leaving the country Spanish citizens who intend to leave the Ukrainian country, due to Russia’s offensive in Ukraine in recent hours.

A practice that in our country it is illegal as it is not regulated by the Law on Assisted Reproduction Techniquesalthough it is allowed for Spanish citizens in those countries where this route is regulated by law, as is the case in Ukraine.
There have been several couples who have left the country with their newborns, after the events that have taken place since last Thursday, with the launch of a military operation in the east of the country and in different parts of Ukraine. The last couples left in the convoy organized by the Embassy in Kiev and which traveled yesterday to Poland. A consulate in which eight officials still remain to provide information and facilities to Spanish residents in Ukrainian territory.

Martinez, who Together with her husband, she started the process to become parents through surrogacy last May, has tried to contact these days with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide them with a solution.
