Paramount+ starts today Dexter: Original Sin the third series of the infamous serial killer. From 2006 to 2013, Michael C. Hall played the cult character Dexter Morgan in 8 seasons of Dexter. Two years ago he returned in the miniseries Dexter: New Blood.
The new Dexter series now travels back in time to take us to the beginnings of Dexter Morgan: In 1991, as a young man, he begins a forensics internship with the Miami Police Department. Even at this time he feels the urge to kill people. His father Harry tries to control this murderous instinct by teaching his adopted son a code: to only take the lives of other murderers.

When does Dexter: Original Sin start on Paramount+?
The first episode of Dexter: Original Sin airs today, Friday December 13, 2024 published. The remaining episodes will then follow weekly. The first season of the Dexter prestory includes a total of 10 episodes. This means the final episode will air on Paramount+ on February 13, 2025.
After that, it’s far from over, because Dexter has already announced a new addition: the fourth series of the serial killer will also start in 2025, in which Michael C. Hall returns to the camera in Dexter: Resurrection.
