The National Union of Journalists in the Comoros (SNJC) organized a solidarity concert yesterday, Saturday November 18, in Moroni. The goal: to raise funds for the creation of a “mutual health fund” intended for Comorian journalists, who struggle to live and take care of themselves with their insufficient salaries. Because the majority of them face medical situations requiring expensive care, sometimes forcing them to launch fundraising. The SNJC aspires to put an end to this practice and create a mutual for the first time in the history of Comorian media.
