The reason for the disturbances in commuter train traffic is that the Swedish Transport Administration is working on track works to improve tracks and switches on the Stockholm City and Solna route. The fact that it takes place during the Easter weekend is because there are usually fewer people using public transport then.
– It is of course unfortunate. But the traffic authority’s work on the tracks has probably been planned a long time in advance, probably long before it was decided on a football match, she says.
