“We are very close to re-opening,” Julie Dawley, Recreation Programs and Services Manager, Said in a release Monday. “We have to have an occupancy Inspection Along with a health inspection, and if we can get through Both of Those Events Without Any Issues Emerging, then Staff Will Be Able to get Back in the Pool for Training.
The Updated Pool Will Feature A Fully Accessible Renovated Customer Service Area, A Larger Community Meeting Room, Bigger Weight Room, New Elevator, Revamped Pool Deck, Family Changing Areas and More.
Final Expensures are expected to come in just shy of $ 4.5 million with $ 1.8m Provided by Both the provincial and federal governments. The original price tag was about $ 3.9 million.

The Official Sod Turning for the Project Was On April 1, 2023, But the Project was Delayed Several Times with the Discovery of Asbestos (Twice), Material Delivery Delays, and Crews Discovering Different Items that weren’t listed in the Building’s Original Plans.
