The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is looking for members to join a new committee to guide the next stage of design and planning for the Wallaceburg site.
The hospital group has established a Building Community Advisory Committee in relation to the redevelopment plan that has been developed for Wallaceburg’s hospital. The project is currently in the second stage of the province’s capital planning process.
The advisory group is meant to be a communication forum that will include individuals from the community, the hospital and other interested stakeholders, a news release from the hospital group said.
The health alliance is looking for two community representatives from the Wallaceburg area.
“Interested applicants must reflect their interest in the hospital and healthcare and an ability to connect with the community about local and rural healthcare issues,” the release said.
Those interested must submit a resume by June 3 and participate in an interview process if selected.
Successful candidates will also have to comply with CKHA’s standard volunteer protocols. Interested applicants can submit their resumes to Aaron Ryan, vice president of performance and chief financial officer, at [email protected].
