Obviously, I Mean, You know.
I’ve been in Montreal for a year and a half and heard those words at least 170 times.
Obviously, I Mean, You know.
Lätkäjargon is buzzing from the mouth of players, coaches and journalists.
The NHL’s four -country tournament is a huge media spectacle. And while one of the playgrounds is still Montreal, attention value increases. Many local TV channels run continuous tracking of the tournament, although the first game has not yet been played.
The NHL is on a break, so the whole North American hockey team is here.
It is interesting and amusing to follow the show, whose plot and shift words are clear to everyone in advance. Those who come to the scene perform their own roles. Nothing surprising can happen.
Reporters ask the players in turn the questions they are supposed to ask. How does it feel to play against club friends? How great is it to be able to play with the best and the best? And so on.
The players respond exactly as they should answer.
Obviously, I Mean, You know.
Be polite but present boring
I admire the professionalism of the NHL machine. Everything works perfectly. Even the smallest details are taken into account in the organization of the tournament.
The atmosphere is relaxed, people are extremely polite.
But at the same time, the show feels like a form of plastic outside the games. Scripted. From a Härmälä perspective, the mood is too sloppy, even a mother.
Still, it is easy to understand why players are always giving their mouths of polite jargon. It makes it easier.
Especially in Montreal Obviously, I Mean, You Know is a trump. I recently heard about a case where a more experienced player in Canadiens had advised a young, hockey player who came to the city.
The instruction was: Be polite, but present as boring as possible. And if you know French, by no means tell anyone. This way you can get much easier.
Montreal’s crazy Media is on the Canadiens players 24/7. Especially those who speak French. Expert Ismo Lehkonen Opened in the Ikan Änäri podcast in a detailed way, what the mad mill contains.
What kind of slope is played in the show tournament?
Of course, the most interesting things in this tournament will happen at the ice level. The world’s best Canadian, American, Finns and Swedish players measure superiority.
It is fantastic to see the best in the rink after a nine -year break. It is just as interesting to see what kind of slut is played here.
I listened to how Tuesday, among other things, US players assured that there would be a real battle on the ice, even though there are types on the other side with which they will play again in a couple of weeks.
I dare to doubt. Do you believe someone that, for example, Florida Sam Bennett or Sam Reinhart tackle when the opportunity arises the air in the yard Aleksander Barkov And give the captain’s lower back of his club with a transverse club?
I argue that the matches will become a lot of normal NHL games. No player wants to decide on their own or through a club buddy to injure during the tournament.
This is a show tournament organized by the NHL and at the same time a miniature exercise for next year’s Olympics.
Obviously, I Mean, You know.
