Comal framework agreement with Enel Green Power for photovoltaic systems

(Finance) – Comala company active in the plant engineering sector for the production of energy from solar sources, has signed a framework agreement with Enel Green Power (Group Is in the) for the realization of photovoltaic systems up to a maximum total power of 287 MW, for a

maximum amount of 95 million euros to which are added 3.2 million euros for the optional maintenance service (O&M) valid for 3 years on the entire national perimeter.

The framework agreement was assigned to the subsidiary BC Renewable Energy, a consortium party jointly owned by COMAL and BOFFETTI, a company active since 1982 in all-in-one energy solutions. Within the joint venture, the participants will work in synergy each for their own specific skills: COMAL as regards the EPC and the O&M and BOFFETTI for the electrical substations.

Under the framework agreement were first orders issued for the realization of two plants photovoltaic systems in central Italy, the first of 55 MWp for 27 million euros, the second of 13 MWp for approximately 9.7 million euros. Both to be realized in the two-year period 2023-2024.

The new acquisition helps to consolidate and increase the current one COMAL’s order book of over 280 million euros for the next two years.
