The Miffy Museum was first opened in 2016, but closed again in 2021. That did not happen because it was already due for replacement, but because it turned out to be a resounding success. “It exceeded all expectations. There were more than 3200 visitors a week, and we didn’t have the space for that,” says Marco Grop, business director of the museum. “There were long queues of parents with children at the door, and that is certainly not so nice for the children.”
