More than 9,000 Colombian soldiers have been sent against ELN left.

The Colombian Army has launched a military operation against ELN left-wing bags near the border of Venezuela, said the country’s Defense Minister Ivan Velasquez. More than 9,000 soldiers have been sent to the area.
According to Velasquez, the soldiers have already brought together the guerrillas, and the army has been ordered to conquer the Sissi areas.
Eln has been in bloody battles in the Catatumbo area near the Venezuela border against other guerrilla and criminal organizations to take over the cocaine store in the area. Dozens of people have been dead or kidnapped and tens of thousands have had to leave their homes because of the fighting.
Velasquez said he also met Venezuela’s Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino and discussed with this about security cooperation in the area.
