In Colombia, President Gustavo Petro decreed on Friday, February 14, three exceptional taxes to resolve the crisis in the Catatumbo. This region in the northeast of the country, on the border with Venezuela, has been the theater for a month of violent clashes between armed groups which are competing for control of cocaine traffic.
