    A new center of expertise within Europol is proposed to stop weapons and drugs flowing across borders.

    The idea is to gather expertise from member countries to assist customs and other authorities.

    – We must support the police and customs authorities and we can coordinate complex, cross-border smuggling operations, says Heléne Fritzon, the Social Democrats’ top candidate in the EU elections.

    S also wants to see strengthened cooperation between European ports.

    Another person has been detained, suspected of the murder of a man in Bredäng in southern Stockholm on Monday, reports P4 Stockholm.

    Two teenage brothers are suspected of the fatal shooting, which occurred in a residential area early in the morning. A 17-year-old was detained by the Södertörn district court on Thursday afternoon, now his one year older brother has also been detained on suspicion of murder.

    According to several media, the police suspect that there is an honorable motive behind the murder.

    The victim, a 45-year-old man, had been severely abused a few years earlier by the father of the now suspected brothers.

    The father was later sentenced to 1.5 years in prison by the Court of Appeal, which, however, did not consider it proven that there was an honorable motive behind the assault.

    – The number of ADHD diagnoses has increased sharply over time in Sweden. The increase has occurred among children and young people and adults. The increase shows no signs of slowing down, says Social Affairs Minister Jakob Forssmed (KD) at a press conference.

    The National Board of Health and Welfare estimates that the percentage with an ADHD diagnosis will continue to increase to 15 percent for boys and 11 percent for girls before the trend levels off.

    – It is a major societal challenge, says Forssmed.

    Now, according to Forssmed, knowledge about the diagnosis of ADHD and the use of medicines must increase. The Swedish Medicines Agency is tasked with increasing the knowledge of the actors concerned about, among other things, the use of ADHD drugs in Sweden.
