Collection of poems by Pim Lammers threatened with death sold

Lammers received the death threats after excerpts from a literary story for adults were shared. The story is about the relationship between a teenage boy and his trainer. This led to angry reactions and threats. He was also accused of being a “pedophile activist”. The Christian action group Family in Danger started a petition and Wybren van Haga asked parliamentary questions.

After Lammers had retired as a writer of the Children’s Book Week Poem, other writers stepped into the breach for him. An action also arose on social media to support Lammers, among other things by buying his poetry collection.
