One of all those who have come to be strongly associated with the program is Bengt Frithiofssonthe wine and drinks expert who stayed with the channel for 25 years, before quitting in 2016.

We all probably remember the phrase: “Hello winelovers”, which became synonymous with Bengt Frithiofsson every time he entered the broadcast.

On Saturday, September 28, the popular TV profile, also the wine expert on TV4, Bengt Frithiofsson died at the age of 85.

Frithiofsson became a well-known face among Swedish television viewers with his appearances in Nyhetsmorgon, where he ranked wine in all its tastes, styles and characteristics with his suns, which he handed out in grades.

The TV4 colleagues remember Bengt Frithiofsson

One who remembers the friend and colleague is Steffo Törnquist. On his Instagram this weekend, he shared a picture of the former TV4 colleague.

“Bengan, thanks for all the tans and sips. You enriched life”.

Other colleagues of the wine expert are also found in the comment field, which is flooded with love and tributes.

When the restaurateur and Nyhetsmorgon’s own star chef Erik Videgård during Sunday visited the program to cook and share his tips and tricks with viewers, he also took the opportunity to speak about his former friend.

– I have known Bengt for 40 years as a freshly baked waiter at the Golden Peace here in Stockholm, he enters. He takes up the whole room, and with a fat cigar that he had. He was so happy and so engaging, I remember his sly look, he said.

– From us winelovers to you Bengt in heaven, thank you for everything and now rest in peace, tabbed Jenny Alversjö in.
