Minus 0.3 degrees is the coldest it has been in July since 1949 in Karesuando when it was minus one degree.
Naimakka is cold
In Naimakka, which is SMHI’s northernmost measuring station, minus 2 degrees was measured the same night.
SMHI states that there is currently a seasonally deep low pressure in large parts of the country. The normal amount of precipitation for the whole of July has already been reached.
