Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX and Tesla, has been keeping his place on the agenda with the purchase of Twitter recently. However, Musk, one of the richest people in the world, came to the fore this time with his son’s request for a gender and name change.

The petition of the son of Justine Wilson, who divorced Elon Musk and Musk in 2008, for both a name change and a new birth certificate reflecting his new gender identity, has been submitted to the court.
Former Xavier Alexander Musk, who recently turned 18, has asked the court to change his gender to female and register his new name.
Xavier Alexander Musk drew attention by saying, “I no longer live with my biological father and I don’t want any ties to him.”
No further statement was made regarding the dispute between Musk’s son and his father.

In May, Elon Musk expressed his support for the Republican Party, which supports a series of laws that would limit transgender rights in states across the country.
In a statement he made in 2020, Musk said, “I absolutely support trans people, but all these pronouns are an aesthetic nightmare,” while referring to the pronouns preferred by trans people.
