CoD Warzone now makes the fiercest challenge much easier, enraging players: “Loser Move”

So far, the special nuke skin in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 was only available if you faced a tough challenge. Now the requirements are being scaled back to make the rewards easier to attain. The players who have already earned the skin react to this quite disappointed.

What is this special skin? The “Nuke Skin” is very rare because you have to earn a nuke in Warzone for it. In order to even be able to work on the nuke, you had to go through a tough challenge to the end and win five consecutive Warzone matches.

Once you lose a match, your progress resets and you have to start over. But that’s history now.

What has been changed? Developer studio Raven Software, which is part of Activision, wrote the following in a June 7 tweet:

“From now on, the Champions Quest is activated in all Battle Royale modes for all players! This week is your last chance to earn the current Champion Quest rewards before they expire. New rewards are coming with Warzone2 Season 04.”

This means that the requirement of winning five matches in a row is no longer required. Each player can thus go into the zone and tackle the Champions Quest.

However, you do not get the rewards for free, as you still have to collect the necessary components to build the atomic bomb. After that, the bomb must be placed and defended.

This will get you the special Nuke skin, an emblem, a calling card, and a weapon charm.

At least until the start of the new season on June 14th, which will bring more content with it. Among other things, a new map:

“It’s really not fair”

How is the community reacting to the change? Under the tweet, several users express their displeasure. The streamer Cloakzy answers with a series of question marks, the content creator FaZe Swagg writes many L’s, which means something like L-Move, ie loser move.

Two short answers, which nevertheless express that both players are not exactly enthusiastic.

ModenasHD writes: “L-Move. It’s really not fair for those who have worked hard for five wins. The skins are no longer unique.”

This is also discussed in the “CODWarzone” subreddit. The user tallstan12 writes there: “It’s really annoying considering that so many players have earned the 5 wins and completed the contract, despite the fact that the maximum number of nuke attempts is limited to 4. Now they just give everyone and you have unlimited tries lol.”

But there are also dissenting voices who see the change as positive. Twitter user howtofeelnothin writes: “In fact it’s a W (Win) as that was almost impossible for many players.”

Ashbach99 replies, “And that’s what it’s all about, it’s not meant to be a gift.”
