In the DMZ mode of Call of Duty: Warzone 2, a “weapon” is considered particularly strong. Now it’s probably being nerfed because players were behaving like hooligans.
What “weapon” is it? The deadliest weapon in Warzone 2 isn’t actually a weapon as you imagine it: the deadliest weapon are the vehicles found on Al-Mazrah.
Hitting a vehicle deals heavy damage and will even bring down the bosses of DMZ mode with a single hit.
So it became established on the streets of Al-Mazrah that players would become street hooligans and use their wheels as a killing machine.
No more traffic hooligans in the radiation zone
What is that nerf? Shortly after the release of Warzone 2, a popular method was to run over the Chemist in the Radiation Zone from DMZ mode to get the new M13B assault rifle from him.
As the CoD leaker “TheGhostOfHope” reports on Twitter, the radiation zone of the DMZ mode is said to have a DDoS effect from now on. In the comments on his post, he goes on to explain that the new effect means that vehicles can no longer be used within the radiation zone.
How would the nerf affect it? If the leaker’s information is correct, you will no longer be able to run over the chemist with a car in the future in order to unlock the new M13B assault rifle as easily as possible.
This makes the job for the M13B that much harder, as the Chemist can be a nasty opponent who will take some bullets from your assault rifles if you don’t take them down with a vehicle. It is therefore better to prepare yourself well before you dare to try it without a vehicle.
