There are new gloves in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 that you have to spend €80 on. Fans aren’t just disappointed because of the price.
What kind of gloves are these? The gloves from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 are available as a reward for purchasing 4 Kong x Godzilla bundles in the shop.
Each bundle costs around 2,400 Call of Duty Points, the equivalent of around €20. Anyone who has purchased all 4 bundles will receive the BEAST gloves as a thank you.
However, you cannot purchase the gloves individually. So if you want the gloves and aren’t interested in the rest of the bundles, you’ll still have to pay €80, €10 more than the game currently costs on Steam.

Fans aren’t just disappointed by the price
How do the fans react to the gloves? The gloves disappoint fans on several levels. The gloves are not only expensive, they also have no special animation or effect. With gloves from the Kong and Godzilla universe, some people would have expected that the gloves would at least somehow influence the players’ ragdolls.
On Reddit, a user made the sacrifice and bought all the bundles to get the gloves, and he draws a sober conclusion:
Holy shit, it wasn’t worth it. The only positives are that it counts as a Mastercraft blueprint (unique inspection) and the fun of beating enemies with it. But it doesn’t do anything special. I thought it would at least knock enemies over, if not launch their corpses. And you can’t even create camouflage over it. If you were interested in the melee blueprint, save your money, it’s not worth $80

The other players also agree on the replies to the user’s post. ShadowCoyote responds to this on Reddit: “Over $100 Canadian dollars. For a melee weapon. Totally crazy. Thank you for your efforts, post creator, and I’m sorry.”
IAMAK47 writes on Reddit: “I was hoping for an uppercut or right hook with a different death animation.”
Although Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 initially caused less hype than the other parts and had a bad start, according to Activision, the game is now more successful than it was in 2023. You can find out whether this is also due to the microtransactions here: Call of Duty is today more successful than 2023, says Activision – despite the worst tests a CoD has ever had
